[Abstract]
This article takes the Wen Clan garden group in Longshan, Guangdong as an example to explore the mutual construction relationship between gardens, clan culture, and local cultural traditions. On the one hand, the Wen Clan garden group, represented by the "Liutang Villa", facilitated literary recitation within the family for over half a century, maintaining a continuous literary style. On this basis, the Wen Clan edited three sets of clan collections, forming the tradition of clan culture. On the other hand, the clan elites bred by gardens and clan culture, led the writing of local historical records. While combing the history of local literature, they introduced clan poetry and prose to establish the image of garden as an important place for literature. The process of mutual construction can reveal how literati gardens nourish the elegant traditions of clans and places.
