以海口五源河蜂虎保护小区的场域设计为例,基于对保护小区现状条件和蜂虎生物学、生态学特性的充分研究,结合蜂虎种群调查及栖息地调查,开展了生态修复、生境提质、景观营造和自然教育的设计探索,提出了生态保护、生境修复、自然教育 3 大策略,通过采取梳理现状水系、改善现状生境、整备蜂虎营 巢地、完善自然教育设施、加强小区管理等措施,以实现保护小区的可持续发展,为蜂虎营造满足其繁殖、筑巢、觅食等生存需 求的家园,为市民提供良好的自然教育体验。

Taking the design of Wuyuan River Bee-eater Reserve in Haikou as an example, based on a fully study of site conditions and the biological and ecological characteristics of bee-eaters, combining a survey of species and habitat of bee-eaters, the design exploration of ecological restoration, habitat quality, landscape construction and natural education are carried out, and three strategies including ecological protection, habitat restoration and natural education are put forward. Through combing current water system, improving current habitat, rearranging nesting sites, perfecting natural education facilities, and strengthening community management, the sustainable development of reserve can be realized, creating a home for bee-eaters to meet their survival needs such as reproduction, nesting and foraging, and providing citizens with a good natural education experience.
