Urban road greening is an important way to improve urban ecology and enhance the quality of life of citizens. In road greening, management and maintenance work is an significant part for maintaining the vitality of road greening. Through an investigation of standard system of road greening management in Shenzhen and other cities, analyzing and comparing the current situation of each standard system, this paper points out that the standard system of road greening management in Shenzhen has the advantages of early establishment and comprehensive content, as well as the disadvantages of imperfect system structure, long use time of some standards and less quantifiable implementation standards. The paper puts forward some suggestions for optimization from the perspective of systematicness, guidance and advancement, and divides the standard system into two major parts: basic standards and road green management standards, of which the basic standards are divided into 4 categories including terminology standards, and road greening management standards are divided into 14 categories including quality and technology.
