Their love and understanding of natural landscape developed landscape culture view that had a profound influence on traditional Chinese culture.Liu Tong,a scholar of Qing Dynasty who was influenced by the traditional view of landscape culture,described the Twenty-four Scenes of Yaoxi with poems.Through the appreciation of poems,the landscape culture of human settlements presented by Yaoxi can be felt,which brings implication to build modern poetry garden: garden makers should have profound knowledge and talent,be familiar with landscape cultural and artistic features,and design and construct carefully according to local conditions,so as to create excellent gardens that blend with environment and artistic conception.
